Mopwater

An in-development browser game framed as one very long closing shift, with a worn-in world and a sharp sense of workplace comedy.

01

The closing shift

A deliberately ordinary job has to carry the pressure and personality of a game. The premise needed to feel tactile and immediate without losing the deadpan humor of a shift that refuses to end.

02

The floor

Mopwater builds its identity from the artifacts of the job: a stained shift card, a battered service bell, wet counters, dim back-of-house light, and the promise that the floor still is not clean.
